It's Time to End Gerrymandering in Ohio
Right now in Ohio, politicians and lobbyists manipulate districts with questionable voting maps to protect their interests and guarantee their reelection. As a result, incumbents running for reelection almost never lose. In other words, we let politicians choose their voters.
"The Citizens Not Politicians Amendment bans lobbyists and politicians from the process of voting map creation and instead empowers voters to choose their politicians," said Lorain County Lead Lili Sandler. "Join us today to restore power to where it belongs -- with citizens, not politicians."
We are going to need a volunteer army to get this initiative on the ballot and win in November 2024!

We Believe ...
Local politics creates the foundation for change on a national level.
Every person in this nation should be treated with dignity and respect.
Health care is a right for all.
The hard work of middle class families should be rewarded.
Our schools and streets should be free from gun violence.
A woman’s decisions about her own body are hers to make.
We are working together to build a bright future for everyone. We are fighting for the soul of our country, for the heart of our democracy and for America’s place as the land of opportunity for all.
The core of our democracy is the right to vote and equal access to the ballot box. The Avon Democratic Club is committed to free and fair elections.
